Courses and Training
Blender 3D
This amazing open source (yes, it’s free!) has become a success in the 3d community over the last years. It’s constantly improving, and the feature list are getting bigger and better every update. MUX MediaLab are now using this application in our workflow, and has done a workflow transition from 3DS MAX to Blender 3D in just 1-2 months. So can you! Dispite what you may have heard or read on forums around the web, the user interface is great the minute you start learning the HotKeys.
Being a experienced 3D artist from a another 3D package, or a complete rookie to 3D, MUX MediaLab provides courses and training in Basic Introduction to Blender, modeling, texturing and UV-mapping, scene setup and rendering in different renders. Since we have worked with 3DS MAX a long time, we can show you the easiest steps in converting you to Blender 3D. Contact us for details
3DS MAX
With over 10 years of experience in 3D Studio for DOS, 3D Studio MAX and 3DS MAX, MUX MediaLab provides a good course in this allround 3D application. We have specialized in photorealistic rendering and modeling, and we can customize courses and training for your wishes. Being a architect, video effect artist or a game developer, we can give you the basic understanding of 3DS MAX within you field of interest. We teach features such as introduction to the user interface, importing and exporting, different modeling techniques, materials and textures, light setups and rendering in different packages. Maxwell Render™
Maxwell Render™ is a physically correct, unbiased rendering engine. By calculating complex light interactions, Maxwell Render is capable of simulating light exactly as in the real world. Unbiased means Maxwell RenderTM does not use tricks to imitate real world behavior like other renderers – everything is reproduced as it is through governing physical equations.
MUX MediaLab is proud to say that we have been following this exciting 3D renderer since the early alpha releases, and Maxwell Render™ have really developed to be a class A render package, delivering so close to photorealism, it’s really just your modeling and texturing skills that sets the limit. We deliver both crash courses and a bit more advanced training in this application. Unfortunately, we cannot give courses in other plug-ins than 3DS MAX, but the important issues are covered in the basic understanding of Maxwell, regardless of what 3D package you are familiar with. Inkscape (Better than Adobe Illustrator?)
An Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format. Inkscape supports many advanced SVG features (markers, clones, alpha blending, etc.) and great care is taken in designing a streamlined interface. It is very easy to edit nodes, perform complex path operations, trace bitmaps and much more. We also aim to maintain a thriving user and developer community by using open, community-oriented development.
Google SketchUp is 3D for everyone
