Specialized in photo realistic 3D renderings

Everything from buildings in the planning phase, to the smallest components, is perfect to visualize in 3D.It gives fantastic opportunities to render out countless different camera views, in contrast to a 2D photography or drawing. Lighting and camera positions can easily be altered for the best possible result, and materials and texturing of objects is easy to change during the process.

Our typical clients are within architectures, civil engineers and designers who works with CAD (Computer Aided Design). MUX MediaLab generates blueprints, 3D models, visualization of design and building projects. We use high end CAD and 3D software in making of models in the wide spread of size. From a small private building project, all up to 300.000 m2 fully interactive Virtual Reality model.

Visualization

Our specialty is photo realistic visualization. With the best software on the market we make images and animation so close to reality as possible. Among other techniques, we use the “multilight” solution for simulate light from bright sunlight to night light. We can import data from various light suppliers to better match the correct the reality and end result. The boundary for getting close to photorealism has again been pushed forward with the new software from Next Limit, “Maxwell Render”, that we also distribute. With a good expertise within 3D/Visualization hardware and software, we can customize solutions for the client needs. The applications we are familiar and use every day are Blender 3D, 3DS MAX, SketchUp, Solid Works, Microstation and Adobe 3D. We also use different renders for different tasks. Among these are Maxwell, Mental Ray, Vray and SunFlow.

Virtual Reality

MUX MediaLab has made VR models of huge building projects. VR is being used increasingly in the project planing to better make the right conclusions at an early stage, increase the understanding for the project planing, and sort out a great deal of faults and misunderstandings along the way of the process.

We speak the architectural lingo

10 years of team work with architectures, not to mention our own building projects, has increased our understanding of the process of working together in a good workflow.
